Flush Door Specifications

Masonite Flush Door Series is available in a variety of core options to suit any application. From hollow core to fire rated, these constructions offer a range of benefits.

Emerald Hollow Core (EHC) Door:  Masonite’s Emerald Hollow Core door is the perfect “green” solution for budget-minded customers. Hollow core doors are used where light to medium duty requirements are needed or where lightness of weight is a factor, as in normal residential and office applications. No fire rating is available.

• 1-3/8" thickness

Safe 'N Sound (SNS) Solid Core Door:  Masonite’s environmentally responsible Safe ‘N Sound interior door is manufactured with DorCor™, an essential ingredient in making this product “green.” DorCor is a low density fiberboard made from wheat straw, an annually renewable, agricultural, wheat by-product.

• 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" thickness
• Available in 20-minute fire-rated option (1-3/4" thickness only)

Emerald Safe ‘N Sound (ESNS) Solid Core Door:  Masonite’s Emerald Safe ‘N Sound uses the same DorCor ingredient as the Safe ‘N Sound with the added attributes of being Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified and containing No Added Urea-Formaldehyde, plus a 20-minute fire rating is available in 1-3/4" thickness.

• 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" thickness
• Available in 20-minute fire-rated option (1-3/4" thickness only)
