- A dead bolt lock, used in conjunction with a
regular hotel or motel guest room lock. When locked
from inside the room, a dead bolt locks the door, and
in addition, a visual OCCUPIED* sign appear in the face of
the lock on the outside of the door. The indicator
dead bolt lock provides privacy for the guest. The
dead bolt can only be operated by the guest when he is
in the room, and must be withdrawn by the guest when
leaving the room. *When
bolt is retracted, message reads vacant. Emergency key
and instruction tag supplied when requested.
